Republican Hubris
After a week of listening to the talking heads on MSNBC, CNN and other networks castigate Hilary Clinton and Howard Dean for their forthright and their long over due outspoken dissent of the republican party and their narrow agenda, I am absolutely outraged that we have heard nothing of republican temper tantrum Sensenbrenner (R-Wis) through in the House Judiciary Committee on Friday.
The Democrats had insisted on hearings on practices at the Guantanamo Bay prison. Representatives from several groups, including Amnesty International USA gave testimony on the treatment of the Gitmo detainess.
Because Sensenbrenner and other republicans didn't like what they were hearing, the played childish games such as turning the microphones off, on and off again while Democrats where speaking and when they couldn't silence Democrats using infantile pranks, they shouted down any opposition to their world view and stomped out of the room.
This is absolutely outrageous. House republicans have absolutely lost all sense of decency and respect for our Democracy. We cannot allow this outrage to go unaddressed. We need to contact the House of Representatives and insist that Sensenbrenner apologize and restore open dialogue to the Democratic process on all issues.

Democrats talking about childish behavior. That's a joke right? All we have been hearing about from the left is how dumb America is because the Republicans swept the election. Biden calls Dr. Rice names during the Confirmation hearing, senate democrats threaten to stop showing up for work if they cant pick judicial nominations.
Now the democrats are worried that insurgence who were taken prisoner while fighting American troops are complaining about being POWs.
Not only do democrats act like children they are naive as children.
We are only naive if we are baited into proving why your facts are wrong. Get a life.
